  • So, for the first article I’m going to talk about the fear of failing and the procrastination. So, I’m afraid of failing. And if I tell you this without any context, it may sound silly, but this fear has a big impact on my daily life and even more so in high school, because we’re constantly being tested and to be able to graduate you need a certain number of points each year and that puts pressure on me because you always have to have a certain level and keep it throughout the year and the idea of not succeeding makes me anxious. and as a defense against this fear, I put work aside to “forget” this pressure. But in high school, if you do that, you won’t get very far. So, it’s hard for me to work because this fear follows me throughout the year. So, procrastination is linked to my fear of failure, because as I mentioned, I delay the moment to start working in order to avoid the pressure of failing. Procrastinate in high school is a real handicap because as I have this fear of failing it manifests itself in procrastination and so I always procrastinate until the last minute and find myself doing things in a short space of time which impacts on the quality of my work.

Dear student, here is my website. I’ll be talking about the fear of working, and I’m going to give you all the tips I discovered to fight this fear. First on the menu you’ll have four links to guide you through the website. At first, there’s two links, the first one opens to a page entitled: “Fear and anxiety”. And then there’s the first page of the menu, on this page I will talk about the resources I discovered to fight procrastination. And finally, the second page will give you advice. Fear of failing and procrastinating

  • For this second article I’m going to talk about two jobs that I attended at the Forum Horizon. the Forum Horizon is an event at the unil in Lausanne, it brings students and professionals together. The forum serves as a meeting point for dialogue and exchange. You can sign up through a lot of conferences about many trades and attend these conferences. They are presented by professionals who work in the profession. So, for the first job I’m going to talk about the Marketing Professions, I didn’t really know anything about this profession but I but I thought it was important to understand more about how to sell products.  I now have a better grasp of the various kinds of sales, each with unique intricacies and strategic ramifications, thanks to this experience. Business-to-business (B2B) sales are usually more complex and involve transactions between businesses. Longer sales cycles, in-depth technical knowledge, and intricate negotiations involving numerous stakeholders are frequently necessary for these transactions. Business-to-consumer (B2C) sales, on the other hand, are typically faster, focus on individual customers, and mostly rely on branding, consumer behavior analysis, and emotional appeal. An agency setting was defined as having a fast-paced, diverse day that included a mix of administrative duties, client appointments, and internal meetings. This illustrates the complex nature of agency employment, where flexibility and time management are essential abilities. But it’s not something that turn me one and what’s more, I’m in the wrong section. if you want to do marketing, the most direct route is business school. And for the second job I’m going to talk about the event organizer. She said that there’s a lot of human interaction, you must have the ability to navigate through unpredictable situations. There is also a strong organizational skill, and the job also requires multiple responsibilities and adaptation skills to changing circumstances. A big point of this job is the regular and direct communication with your patient. I chose to talk about this job because I was interested to see what goes on behind the scenes of big events like concerts or sporting events, and it’s a huge organization. You have to plan everything, even, as she said, a map to show where the toilets are. But I don’t think I have the patience to pay attention to every detail. And to do this job you either have to do an apprenticeship or a maturity and then a HES. So, I’d have to do a specialized maturity.
