Dear future student, if I had some advice to give you, it would be to organize yourself. Don’t let procrastination win, because I did and the catching up was brutal. Do your homework on time, revise for tests in time and do everything that you can do so you can work a little bit at a time and not crumble under a huge amount of work.
I would advise making a little week planner on Sundays for the next week, so you can visualize, and it can help you find a balance between schoolwork and free time without being stressed and overwhelmed all the time. I would also say, stay open to people, being able to laugh between classes, help each other and have human interaction can motivate you to come to school.
Do not let anyone overstep on your boundaries. Enjoy being a teenager, enjoy the struggle and enjoy the calm, those things you will miss once they’re gone. If you do not understand, ask the teachers questions, do everything in your power to make learning and coming to school easier. Take time to relax and breathe too. Listen to yourself, be confident because you sure are capable of anything.
