On my journey of self-discovery and emotional growth, I found that certain tools helped me feel more balanced, lessanxious, and more connected to myself.
Here are two that made a real difference :
- Guided meditation and online research
I started practicing short guided meditations whenever I felt overwhelmed even just five minutes helped me slow down my thoughts. Meditation made me realize how disconnected I sometimes was from the present moment.
In parallel, I used trusted online platforms to read about emotions, anxiety, fear of control, and mental health. Understanding the “why” behind my reactions helped me feel less alone.
- Journaling and conversations with others
Writing regularly in a journal allowed me to express emotions I didn’t always dare to say out loud. It helped me understand what triggered certain feelings and gave me space to reflect.
Talking with people I trust even just a close friend reminded me that I didn’t have to carry everything alone. Theseconversations brought me support and clarity.
These tools don’t fix everything, but they give you a starting point a space to breathe, to think, and to grow at your ownpace.
