Dear future students,

If you’re worried about losing your best friend, remember that talking things through is key. Communication is the foundation of any strong friendship, and it’s especially important when things feel uncertain. Be honest with each other about how you’re feeling and what’s going on in your lives. Sometimes, simply having an open conversation can clear up misunderstandings and bring you closer. Also, give each other the space to grow. People change over time, and that’s completely normal. Friendships go through different phases, and it’s important to support each other’s personal growth, even if it means changing the dynamic of your relationship. But if you’ve built a strong bond, there’s a good chance that, even through difficult times, you can work through things together. Remember, it’s not about being perfect, it’s about showing up for each other, being patient, and understanding that friendships evolve. So, don’t worry too much about things changing; instead, focus on how you can nurture and adapt your relationship to continue to thrive.

As for figuring out your career, it’s okay to feel unsure. The pressure to have everything figured out can be overwhelming, but it’s important to give yourself permission to explore and experiment. Try different things, even if they don’t seem directly related to your ideal job. You never know what might spark your interest or help you discover a passion you didn’t expect. It’s also a great idea to talk to people in various fields. Their experiences and advice can provide valuable insight and open your mind to opportunities you hadn’t considered. Don’t forget to develop transferable skills like communication, problem-solving, and adaptability. These will be beneficial no matter what career path you choose. And above all, be patient with yourself. It’s completely normal not to have everything figured out right away. Life is full of twists and turns, and often the best opportunities come when you least expect them. Stay open to new experiences and trust that, over time, you’ll find the path that feels right for you. Trust yourself and the process, you don’t need to have it all figured out today, and that’s okay.
