Dear future students, having finished my second year of gymnasium, I would like to give you some advice based on my experience so far. I have not finished school yet, but I’ve already learned some important lessons. I hope they will help you.
If I had asked my teachers more questions, I would have made faster progress. At times, I didn’t understand certain topics, but I was afraid to speak up. If I had asked for help, I wouldn’t have struggled alone. Please remember: asking for help is not a weakness — it shows that you care about learning.
If I had taken better care of my sleep and health, I would have had more energy. Some days, I was tired in class because I didn’t sleep enough or skipped breakfast. If I had followed a better routine, I would have focused more and been less tired during lessons.
If I had believed more in myself, I would have felt less anxious about school. Sometimes I doubted my abilities, but I now know that with effort, progress is always possible. If I had had more confidence, I might have tried new things or spoken more in class.
So my advice to you is this: be organized, take care of yourself, ask questions, and believe in your potential. Gymnasium can be challenging, but it is also a great opportunity to grow.
